Code of Best Practice for Reporting by Life Science Companies ASX and AusBiotech strongly encourage companies in the life science sector to adopt best practice in reporting events to investors. The objectives of the Code are: to provide a reference tool to guide public Australian life science companies in effective and informative communication to the market, according to a guidance framework; to incorporate international best practice in reporting, and thus maintain and enhance the reputation, integrity and credibility of the Australian life science sector; and to provide information to investors about the disclosure framework that identifies the key drivers of value for life science companies, supporting more informed investment decisions. |
Guide for Life Science Company Directors This Guide for Life Science Company Directors (the Guide) aims to support and enhance the performance of boards of directors leading public and private life science companies. This Guide is designed to: promote best practice governance within the boards of life science companies and improve performance; provide an informational source for people contemplating becoming a director on a life science company board, particularly less experienced directors, or those new to the life science sector; and build on general governance guidance, by featuring the important aspects of life science that companies face. |
Roadmap to a successful IPO for life sciences companies
The Roadmap (first edition, 2017) will prepare life sciences companies for initial public offerings (IPOs), providing independent expert information that is specific to the life sciences sector.
While listing on Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) is a common pathway for life sciences companies, long-term strategy and risk must be considered prior to pursuing an IPO. The Roadmap aims to provide life sciences companies with independent, non-proprietary information about becoming an ASX–listed company
