Women in Life Sciences Luncheon

The Women in Life Sciences Luncheon, co-hosted by AusBiotech and Medicines Australia, held in NSW, is a must-attend event on the annual life sciences calendar.

The Luncheon, hosted on March 6, 2026, will bring together over 600 leaders, changemakers, and allies to mark International Women’s Day.

Our community will come together under the International Women's Day theme #Give to Gain. The campaign encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration. It is the act that creates opportunity. When we give visibility, share knowledge and offer genuine support, we help women advance. And when women advance, we all gain a stronger, more connected and more equitable sector.

Acknowledging the real experiences of women across our sector

In the life sciences sector, many women know the dual demands of pushing boundaries while seeking support, of leading teams while wanting to be heard. These experiences are widely shared yet not always openly acknowledged. As a result, experiences that are common can feel isolating.

Our Women in Life Sciences Luncheon aims to create an environment where these experiences can be recognised and discussed with openness and respect. Because when we give our time and perspective, we gain connection and the shared momentum needed to turn individual challenges into collective progress.
