AusBioNSW is the leading life sciences organisation for NSW.

For AusBiotech members in NSW, no additional membership subscription is required.

AusBioNSW has developed the 2023-2025 strategy to support the organisation's objectives, which can be viewed below.

We are dedicated to representing, connecting, and promoting NSW medtech and biotech companies and fostering local connections with the national and global life sciences economy.

NSW has a significant and growing life sciences sector. More than one-third of the entire Australian life sciences sector calls NSW home, with the number of NSW organisations growing 51 per cent between 2019 – 2022.

AusBioNSW is backed by AusBiotech – Australia’s life sciences organisation with over 37 years’ experience in providing national representation and services to promote the growth of the Australian life sciences industry. As such, AusBioNSW is uniquely placed to deliver locally tailored programmes and services whilst leveraging the national advocacy activities, membership services, events and networks of AusBiotech.

Your local industry organisation is working with the sector to support industry growth by:

  • Driving initiatives to attract investment and grow innovation and trade in NSW
  • Developing programmes that strengthen NSW-based companies' capabilities
  • Increasing awareness of NSW biotechnology strengths and offerings locally and internationally
  • Advocating for the NSW life sciences sector.

AusBioNSW actively supports a connected sector. A regular calendar of events provides opportunities to network, build relationships, share insights and showcase achievements and ideas.
